Nature Center - at the lower level parking lot
We will ski/hike 4 miles round-trip to the falls {including one large hill}; then there will be an option to add a few more mostly flat miles after that.
Ramsey County Parks and Recreation is offering free skating for any senior 55+. Every Thursday through March 5, 2026 except for the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years). We skate from 11am-12:30pm. You will need your own skates. All abilities welcome.

Ahvo Taipale, a legend in the Minnesota ski community will be the speaker. Ahvo is a beloved personality, known as 45-year owner of Finn Sisu ski shop, coach, mentor and for bridging his Finnish ski heritage with American skiing and supporting the sport for decades. Ahvo came to the U.S. from Finland in 1968 and quickly became a force in local ski racing, winning events like the Duluth Loppet. He started the Finn Sisu ski shop which he owned and operated for 45 years. He has coached and mentored several Olympic skiers, including Jesse Diggins.
