Wed. Feb 27, {WW} Ski Theodore Wirth Park. Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the multipurpose room at the new Trailhead building at Theodore Wirth Park, 1221 Theodore Wirth Pkwy in Minneapolis. Cross-country skiing, hiking or snowshoeing will begin at 10:15. I will lead a skiing outing. If anyone is interested in leading other outings, please let me know beforehand (or these plans can also be made at the Trailhead). If interested in skiing, you need either a season pass for Mpls parks or a daily pass. The cost of a Natural Snow daily pass is $8; an All Access daily pass, which allows you to ski the man-made snow trails, costs $20. Purchase passes at the Trailhead or online. I plan on skiing the natural trails if there is sufficient snow. For food options after the outings, there is an interesting new Cajun restaurant at the Trailhead that serves sandwiches and lunches, or you can bring a bag lunch.
