Ski/Snowshoe/Hike Lake Elmo Park Reserve - VENUE CHANGE
Feb 6, Wed {WW} Ski/Snowshoe/Hike Lake Elmo Park Reserve. (NOTE: The venue has changed from the previously published location.) Due to sectional high school ski races at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington the morning of the 6th, we’ll meet instead at Lake Elmo Park Reserve, 1515 Keats Ave N in Lake Elmo. Meet at 10:45 a.m. in the Nordic Center and be on the trails at 11:00. Take your pick of skiing, snowshoeing or hiking depending upon trail conditions. If hiking, be sure to bring along your Yaktrax. With the possibility of more snow in the forecast for Tuesday, there may be some decent classic skiing after all. Be sure to check www.skinnyski.com for the latest trail updates. We’ll recreate for a couple of hours and, if there’s enough interest, have lunch afterward at Gorman’s Restaurant in Lake Elmo. Otherwise, bring a bag lunch. Daily vehicle permit of $7 is required along with a MN Ski Pass if you choose to ski.
