Saturday, March 21. Covid-19 Hike. Concerts, plays, and other events have been cancelled, museums are closed, but we can still go out and enjoy the great outdoors. Join me for a hike on Saturday to help me explore my new neighborhood (I moved to Mendota Heights six months ago). Meet 10 a.m. at Thompson County Park at 360 Butler Avenue East in West St. Paul. We’ll take the paved trail to Kaposia Park, then on to Simon’s Ravine and Kaposia Landing, ending at the Mississippi River Trail. We’ll hike along the river for a while before returning to Thompson Park for lunch. Bring water, snacks and a bag lunch. We’ll eat at the picnic shelter after the hike.
