Nine-Mile Creek & Minnehaha Creek Bike Ride.
Meet at 10:00 a.m., bike at 10:15 from Walnut Ridge Park 5801 Londenderry Rd. in Edina. Mileage options of 24.6 or 25.5 miles. Bike city streets and trails of St. Louis Park, Hopkins, Edina, Richfield and Minneapolis. Bike Nine-Mile Creek Trail and Minnehaha Creek Trail. Bike thru Walnut Ridge Park, Bredesen Park, Centennial Lakes Park, Richfield Lake Park, Bass Lake Park, Minnehaha Creek Preserve, and other parks. Bike along Lake Harriet and Lake Calhoun.
We will cross 25-plus bridges and boardwalks, cross Nine-Mile Creek 12 times, and Minnehaha Creek 6 times. Directions: if heading south on US 169 in Edina, take the Londonberry Rd/Bren Rd exit; turn left on Londonberry Rd and over US 169; turn left on Lincoln Dr, go 0.15 miles and turn right on Dovre Dr; go 0.3 miles, turn right on Londonberry Rd, go 0.1 miles and turn left into park opposite Parkwood Ln. If heading north on US 169, take the Londonberry Rd/Bren Rd exit, turn right on Londonberry Rd, then follow the directions above to the park. FFI: Gary Solberg, 612-401-7561 or
