DATE CHANGE FROM JULY 8 TO JULY 24

July 24,  Fri {WW} Forest Lake Bike Ride (or Hike) and BBQ. Meet at 9:15 a.m. at the Morrissey home, 8959 North Shore Trail N, Forest Lake, MN 55025. Begin biking/hiking at 9:30. Bike ride will be approximately 30 miles through scenic territory, with shorter distances available. The hike (walk) is four miles or shorter. 

BBQ after the ride with swimming available at dock to right (bring water shoes in event of shells on lake bottom). Brats and potato salad provided; bring appetizer, salad or dessert to share. Bring your own beverages (beer will be provided). Please also bring coolers and lawn chairs. 

Directions: take I-35 north to Hwy 8, east on 8 to Greenway, right to North Shore Trail (County Rd 2), left on CR2 approximately four miles to 8959 (Morrissey's Back Acre) on the right. Park in the lot at top of hill or by the garage at the brick house.
