July 22, Wed {WW} Hike Pike Island. Meet at 9 a.m. in front of Thomas Savage Visitor Center, Fort Snelling State Trail, St Paul, MN 55111. Exit Hy 5 onto Post Rd/Snelling Lake Road. Stay on Snelling Lake Rd, keep driving  past the 5 parking lots for the swimming beach. The Visitor Center is at the end of the road. Vehicles must have a current state park sticker or day pass. Start hiking at 9:15 a.m. This is a 4-mile flat loop. Bring a bag lunch to eat at the Visitor Center patio after the hike.
