May 27, Wed {WW} St. Paul Bike Ride. Meet at 9:45 a.m. in the High Bridge Dog Park Parking Lot, 101 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55102. To access the dog park, follow the signs going south on Randolph Street from its intersection with Shepard Road. Start riding at 10:00 a.m. The ride will take about 2.5 hours and is about 15 miles, with a leisurely pace of about 8-10 mph. The route heads out west on Shepard Road, continues onto Mississippi River Boulevard, and then turns onto Summit Avenue. We will stop at some of the scenic overlooks. The Mississippi River will be on our left all the way until we turn onto Summit Avenue. We will wind our way down the hill from Summit to the river using side streets. Lunch is at City House, a restored grain elevator converted into a seasonal open-air food and beverage establishment, located near the plaza on the bike trail. Food offerings include Cubano sandwiches, veggie burgers, and street tacos. Beverages include local craft beers, cider, and wine on tap. City House is on the bike trail about a half mile from the Dog Park and we will stop for lunch before we return to our cars. Bike racks are available. Bring a bike lock for your bike.
