February 25, Wed {WW} SnowTubing at Elm Creek Park Reserve (PM/EVENING). Meet at 6:15 PM for check-in at Elm Creek Park Reserve, 12400 James Deane Parkway, Maple Grove, MN 55369. We will go tubing from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Wednesday is half-price day -- $10 per person (including tax). You MUST text me at 651-802-1729 (Lois Laitinen) by Sunday, February 22nd to tell me if you want to go and how many. I have a block of reservations reserved and I have to cancel any unneeded reservations on Monday to prevent them from being charged to my credit card. You can pay me by cash or check (payable to Lois Laitinen) beforehand at any WW event or at Elm Creek on the night of our event. There are 10 lanes for tubing down a 10-story, smooth, well-manicured hill with a moving carpet to bring people back up the hill. The tubes are specially designed to be safe and fun. You don’t have to worry about jarring your bones. The ride is exhilarating, but the tubes are very comfortable and cushy. Dress warmly! If you do get cold, you can buy hot chocolate inside the Visitor Center and sit by the fire to warm up! There are also snacks available for purchase.
