Dec 24, Wed {WW} Hike James McKee Prairie & Maplewood Parks. Meet at 10:15 a.m. at 2568 Geranium Ave E, Maplewood, MN 55119. Start hiking at 10:30 a.m. We will hike about 3 miles along Beaver Creek, through James McKee virgin tall grass prairie, past abandoned railroad structures, around Sterling Oaks Park, and around Nebraska Park. Bring your hiking poles and a wrapped “white elephant” gift just for fun to exchange with somebody at lunch (since it is Christmas Eve)! We will eat after the hike at Little Oven, 1786 East Minnehaha Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55119.  Note: Little Oven accepts only cash or checks (no credit cards).
