July 16, Wed {WW} Bike Swedish Immigrant Trail. Meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Swedish Immigrant Trailhead, 637 – 1st Street, Taylors Falls, MN 55084. Start biking at 10:45 a.m. Biking will be on the finished section of the Swedish Immigrant Trail from Taylors Falls to just beyond Shafer {12.4 miles round trip}. Most of the trail is fairly flat and runs through farmlands, woods, and wetlands. After the ride, we will eat lunch at The Drive In Restaurant, 572 Bench Street, Taylors Falls, MN 55084 {sometimes comes up as 572 St. Croix Trail}. The Drive In has a fifties atmosphere with fifties music playing. It is famous for root beer and great food. The owners take pride in buying quality ingredients locally. We can play 18 holes at the mini golf right by the restaurant after lunch. Cost for mini golf is $8.
