Sept 28-Oct 2, Sun-Thur {A} Fall Colors Hiking Trip to the North Shore Enjoy the Fall colors from spectacular vistas on the ridgeline overlooking Lake Superior. Hikes will be of moderate difficulty lasting up to six hours each day on the Superior Hiking Trail. Less strenuous hiking is also available. Lodging will be in Two Harbors at the AmericInn near Lake Superior, 1088 MN-61, Two Harbors, MN - two people per room. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, and sauna. Drive up Sunday, hiking along the way if desired. Group hikes on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday, leave after breakfast for more individual hiking and home. Or, head to Ely to join the NorthStar trail clearing at Camp duNord.
Meals: AmericInn provides a good continental breakfast each morning. Sunday evening we’ll have a NorthStar welcome, pizza-dinner at the lodge. All other meals are your responsibility. Two Harbors has many restaurants, plus two supermarkets for those extra treats.
Details: Registration is open: Cost is $449/per person due at registration. Check-in is after 4pm on Sunday afternoon.The trip accommodates sixteen people.
Cancellation policy: Cancellations before August 25, 2025 – full refund. After August 25th, no refund unless a spot is filled from the waiting list.
