Jan 9, Wed {WW} Ski Hyland Lake Park Reserve. With no skiable natural snow in the Twin Cities, and none in sight, we’ll opt for skiing the 5K of trails with man-made snow at Hyland. Meet in the visitor center, 10145 Bush Lake Rd in Bloomington, at 10:15 a.m. and be on skis at 10:30. Trails are mostly beginner to intermediate with one loop for more advanced skiers. Daily pass of $9 plus tax is required. Ski rental is also available. Bring a bag lunch or buy something at the small concession stand (there’s not a lot to choose from).
