Only NSSTC
members may post activities.

Activities posted
on the message board are not official
NSSTC
activities. They are not approved by a Trips Coordinator
and are
not included in the official
club schedule or e-loype.
- Items posted
on the bulletin board should be for activities that the person posting is
attending and is looking
for others to join him/her.
The intent of the forums is not for general
purpose notifications.

Activities may not
be posted to benefit commercial endeavers.

Instructions
For Viewing Messages
-
You do not need to
register to view the message board
or e-mail a trip leader
from the message board.
-
To view postings: Click on the
desired activity in the
forum box. A Topics
box will open. Click on the topic you want to view to open it. (This is
the subject line that
the trip leader gave to the
trip.)

Instructions
For Replying to Postings
There are three
ways to respond to messages
-
To e-mail the
activity leader directly: Click on the
e-mail icon at the
bottom of the message. You don't need to be registered to have access to
this function.

To post a public
response click on Post Reply. You
must be a registered user
to have access to this function.

To post a response that only
the trip leader can see click on
the PM icon at the
bottom of the message. You must be a registered
user to have access to this
function.

For Posting Activities
You must be registered
to post activities (only need
to register the
first time you want to post) and to make replies on the message
board.

To register: Click on
the Register icon on the top
right corner of the message
board.

The activity should be one you are participating in and are
looking for others to join you, not general
notifications of
events.

To post an activity: Click
on the forum box for the type
of activity you wish to post
- biking, skiing, etc. then click on New Topic. Choose a
subject line carefully
as this is all that will be
seen in the Topic box for viewers to decide if
they want to open your
topic, i.e. "Dec
10th Ski at Afton State Park".

When posting an activity
include your contact info; first name,
last name, phone number or
e-mail. You can include this information in your signature when
you register so
it will be automatically
added to your
postings.
