Nov 8, Wed {WW} Hike Long Meadow Lake.  Frank Janezich and Roxy Knuttila will lead a hike along Long Meadow Lake (a backwater of the Minnesota River) that covers about 3 miles round trip (out-and-back) on a hilly woodland trail.  Trail- hiking shoes and hiking poles will be helpful.  We will hike to the recently re-built Old Cedar Avenue Bridge, hike the boardwalk to a bird watching platform, and return home for lunch.  Meet at 10:00 AM at 10217 Tenth Avenue Circle, Bloomington MN  55420. Park on either side of the street.   Hike at 10:15 AM.  Bring a bag lunch;  coffee and tea will be provided.  If you do not wish to hike, just bring a bag lunch and meet the hikers when we return at approximately noon.

NOTE:  Because of ongoing street and parking lot construction, you cannot drive to the Old Cedar Avenue Bridge.  Old Cedar Avenue is closed to traffic south of Old Shakopee Road.
